Cruise
Plymouth, probably back to Brighton
This week is currently the last of the 8 weeks 'contiguous' cruising in BB this summer, so, unless more skippers signup to be able to hand over to we will need to return BB to Brighton. We also need to be prepared to modify plans if BB attracts a buyer, either to meet an interested party or cancel the week if BB is sold.
That doesn't mean we can't look forward to some fun, we are starting in Plymouth so can visit some of the many beautiful harbours in the area, Salcombe, Fowey for example, then it is about 166nm back to Brighton so we could do this in one hop if the weather is OK. Otherwise we could come back via the Channel Islands, it's not far off the direct route, but would include a couple of long day passages. I don't plan to spend time in the Solent, that is my 'back yard' and not somewhere I would want to spend much time in BB.
So the plans for the week are flexible at the moment but hopefully August should give us fair weather and SW winds.
I'm pleased to have Bob Williams as 'mate' for the week.
