Mast Lift-out and Re-rig

On Friday 20th February we will move Brighton Belle to a pontoon close to the boat yard. A crane will lift both masts out and lay them on trestles in the yard. A few hands will be useful to help with this process. At the boat at  10:00 am. We will video the process.

On Saturday 21st from 10.00 am we will work to remove the old rigging and start making up the new shrouds. Come along to help out and try your hand at swaging.

On Saturday 28th from 10.00 am we will lift the now re-rigged mast back into the boat. We will reconnect the rigging to the boat and adjust the tension of all shrouds and finally put the split pins back. Cables for the electrics to be reconnected and booms put back on. You will all be experts in rigging at the end of this. Lots of help needed.
