Orkney Cruise

This one week cruise starts and finishes in Kirkwall in the Orkney Islands.  There will be a mixture of small towns and quiet anchorages to explore, and some beautiful scenery.

While sailing we hope to explore some of the smaller islands and anchor or stay on mooring buoys enjoying the very long daylight hours.  Sailing days are likely to be 40 miles or less, so time enough to get to an anchorage and explore a little for those who wish to, or simply to chill out on board.  See photos of some Orkney scenes we might visit below.
