Torshavn to Stornaway

We will join Brighton Belle in Torshavn, capital of the Faroe Islands - with some really beautiful scenery as you can see from the photo.

After a day or so enjoying Torshavn, we will set sail, aiming for a sheltered overnight anchorage towards the southern part of the Faroes. That will give us a good starting out point for our 2-3 day passage to the Outer Hebrides.

Depending on weather, timing, etc, we should have a couple of days exploring the northern area of the Hebrides (courtesy I am sure of the insider knowledge of Stuart) before hitting the bright lights, restaurants and bars of Stornaway.

A great combination of beautiful scenery, great sailing (at least one overnight open ocean passage for your logbooks!), good eateries and bars, and I trust some excellent whisky!
