Cruise
Galician Rías
A week exploring the estuaries and inlets of Galicia's Rías Baixas region in north west Spain. This is a concentrated area of interesting cruising; as much for Galicia's rich cultural and culinary heritage as the coastline itself.
The region spans a rich and varied 40M stretch of the Galician coastline. It includes the four island groups of the Galician Atlantic Islands National Park, and four deep ocean inlets: Ría de Muros y Noia, Ría de Arousa, Ría de Pontevedra, and Ría de Vigo. The coast is famous for the quality and variety of its seafood, and the littoral is home to vineyards producing Galicia's famed Albariño grape and numerous charming towns and fishing villages. Sailors are well catered for in Galicia with a choice of marinas and anchorages in each of the Rías.
The week will start and end at Vigo. Various airlines fly to Vigo from London Gatwick.
