Brighton - Troon Delivery Cruise

To start off the 2022 Scotland and Ireland cruising programme Brighton Belle will be taken on a delivery cruise from Brighton to Troon. The plan is to assemble the crew onboard at the end of the Easter weekend ready to depart on the afternoon of Tuesday 19 April. Bill Hill has agreed to be mate for this trip and Commodore Mike will also be joining us. This leaves places for at least 2 more BB members and there may be opportunities for potential members to join us for individual legs of the cruise. We expect to arrive in Troon by 2/3 May.   Depending on the wind, weather and the wishes of the crew we should have opportunities to stop at some harbours on the way along the south coast and then up through the Irish Sea. Stops might be selected from perhaps 4 or 5 of these: Solent, Poole, Brixham, Salcombe, Plymouth, Fowey, Helford River, Milford Haven, Aberystwyth, Pwllheli, Greystones, Dun Laoghaire, Carlingford Lough, Strangford Lough, Bangor (the Irish one!), Holyhead, IoM.   As well as enjoying the sailing there will also be training opportunities for off shore navigation and overnight passages.   Come and join us for what promises to be an enjoyable season opening cruise.
