Jersey to Brest Cruise

Our cruise will take us from St Helier in Jersey along the Brittany Coast and ending up in Brest. The total distance is only around 150 miles so with a week available to us we plan to do comfortable day sails, visiting some of the deightful small estuaries and harbours along the stunning Brittany coastline.   This is Channel cruising at its best - yes probably even beating my home Devon/Cornwall patch! There are many places to visit - our options include (but are definitely not limited to) Lezardrieux, Treguier, Morlaix, Roscoff/Ile de Batz, L'Aber Wrach, Camaret, Ile D'Ouessant - I am sure you will know many of these - and if not, then you have a treat in store! Great French wines and locally caught fish are sure to be on the menu.   For this cruise and the La Rochelle based cruises that I am skipper for in July/August, I am keen to offer as much experience to either would-be or new skippers and mates. This would include skipper/mate for the day, passage planning, yacht handling under sail/power, MOB drills, etc. If there is a new skipper looking for experienced support then I am happy to provide this, standing to one side to let you get on with it. Opportunity....   This should be a laid back gentle early summer cruise will some good sailiig and hopefully some warm sun.
