Hi.  I love being on a well found boat.  If it happens to be going somewhere, either on a passage or cruising, that puts the icing on the cake.

I used to mess about on boards and in dinghies and dabbled as a rescue boat coxswain until I discovered the joys of Offshore sailing, mainly on Nicholson 55s, but hadn't sailed for 25+ years until I found out about BB last year. I used to think I had done a fair amount of sailing but this pales into insignificance when compared to many of our members!!  I enjoy trying to get the best out of a boat while sailing but do not make claims on being any good at doing so and happily carry on learning.

I have always loved the camaraderie experienced on boats with a bunch of like minded people and, wow, our members excell at that.  I think the 'never knowingly under-provisioned' policy on BB is excellent!! 

I'm looking forward to next season and meeting more of you during our travels.
