Sailing with Brighton Belle Sailing Club
Each year Brighton Belle's skippers, mates and members agree and organise a sailing programme spanning several months (typically April/May to September/October). Over the year, the yacht will travel thousands of miles, with skippers and crews changing at pre-designated times and locations.
This ‘cruise relay’ enables us to sail further afield - as far as Spain and Portugal; Orkney, the Hebrides and the Faroes; Madeira, the Canaries and the Azores.
Over the winter and spring months Brighton Belle will typically be based in Brighton Marina. We use her for weekend and day/evening sails when we can, and we carry out an extensive maintenance programme. We also organise social events, on board or shore-based, and we hold our AGM.
Try for yourself
To allow prospective members to experience the club, we offer a six-month provisional membership. During this period, provisional members can join club cruises and other activities without paying a membership fee, and without any obligation to join.
Our offer to provisional members is:
- The chance to meet other club members and find out more about how the club works
- A quality sailing experience in convivial company
- An opportunity to take part in sailing the boat, and to enhance sailing skills
To apply for provisional membership, please complete this form. Our membership officer will then contact you to take things forward.
